I would've extended my stay a few more days if the apartment wasn't already booked. Everything was exceptional from start to finish. Mauro was beyond helpful even before I checked in, greeted me and helped me settle in. He also provided some great restaurants in the area, you cannot find a more helpful host. The apartment was perfection, I loved the exposed wall from the old monastery but updated with all the modern touches, very well equipped with everything I needed and the location cannot be beat. I also LOVED the private garden, very peaceful for morning coffee and evening relaxation and very convenient for letting my pup sniff around as well. Overall I really loved everything about the apartment. This truly is a special apartment that enhanced my first visit in beautiful Salerno.

Mauro’s apartment is a genuine little oasis, tucked away but still only a 3 min walk from the Duomo, we were able to appreciate Salerno from a locals perspective.The apartment was comfortable and full of character, with the outside space a real bonus. Mauro himself was super communicative, offering recommendations on restaurants and getting around which we found helpful.The apartment is up a typical Salerno hill, but it’s only 300 steps from the bottom (I counted) to the front door, and another 72 stairs to the apartment. An enchanting place... A garden paradise with stone walled country charm in the middle of the historic old town city center! Filled with generosity and friendliness from Mauro and Maria who are the warmest of hosts. The apartment was clean, cozy and spacious with beautiful high ceilings. Garden was perfect for our puppy to play and relax. Great location with restaurants, shops, market, promenade, and seaside all within 5-15 minutes of walking. This place is magical. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. The location in the historic district was perfect .walkable to amazing restaurants, the train station and the port if you want to visit other places on the coast. What made our stay extra special was the hospitality of Mauro and Maria , the hosts. They gave us recommendations on where to eat, what to visit and cared greatly that we had a wonderful visit. Mysig lägenhet i gamla stan med egen täppa och nära till det mesta. ☺ Trivsam och charmig lägenhet mitt i gamla stan med egen liten trädgårdstäppa där det fanns apelsinträd och  grill.
